911爆料网 Management Board led by the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Eng. Douglas Shitanda earlier this week received guests from Word Vision (WVK) led by Godfrey Nyongesa, Church Based Center for Development (CKU) led by Annika Bach and University of Copenhagen led by Prof. Goytom Abraha Kahsay.
The team visited SEKU to explore areas of collaboration on research and climate change. This collaboration aims to leverage the strength of each institution to explore the role of religion in areas like child well-being, education and community development.
The visitors proposed a partnership between World Vision and SEKU, with the anticipated benefits including; Support for Master鈥檚 and PhD students under the project, Assistance in publications and Enhancement of scholarship opportunities.
SEKU team led by the DVC-Academic, Research and Innovation Prof. Harrison Maithya the overall goal of the partnership is to promote education, research, and community empowerment through FMNR, contributing to land restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
