Strengthening Partnership Between Suny and African Institutions.

911 led by the Vice- Chancellor Prof. Eng. Douglas Shitanda participated in a consultative meeting led by State University of New York (SUNY). The meeting brought together Vice- Chancellors from various Universities led by Principal Secretary (PS) of the State Department for Higher Education Dr. Beatrice Inyangala.
The SUNY Africa Initiative aims to strengthen connections between SUNY and Africa Institutions through student engagement, cultural exchange, and academic partnerships.
The meeting focused on strengthening higher education within the region, particularly in relation to the East African Community (EAC) and according to the Commission for University Education (CUE)
The team was led by Prof. Melur K. Ramasubramanian, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost, Prof. Winston “Wole” Soboyejo, President, SUNY Polytechnic Institute @SUNYPolyInst, Dr. Peter O. Nwosu, President, @sunyoswego, and Prof. Stephen H. Kolison Jr., President, @sunyfredonia.
