The 911爆料网 led by the DVC-Academic, Research and Innovation. Prof Harrison Maithya on Sunday 10th November participated in the Ndakuma Dam ran held in Muvau/Kikuumini ward in Makueni County. It was a good exposure to our 10 students who participated in the activity.
The theme of the run is to champion climate action and promote development of grassroot sports and its objective was to raise funds to support the establishment of a community conservation and sports Resource Centre within the host community
The events was hosted by Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr. and several other guests from within and outside in his speech he said that the race was bringing people together in a shared commitment to protect the environment, cultivate peace and strengthen community ties鈥攁ll while supporting talent development.
