The South eastern Kenya university (SEKU) undergoing an introductory training on contract farming methodology in collaboration with the Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (HSWT) Technology and Transfer Pact (TAP) With Africa Cooperation with the GIZ transferring promising innovations as part of the GIZ 鈥� A world without hunger 鈥� programme.
The training facilitator Mr. Edmond Ringo dealt with several issues among them; understanding the importance of contact farming, exploring CF and typologies and business models, integrating contract farming into academic curricula and coaching and implementation planning among others.
